As Performance Driven Marketing expands in the number of clients we serve, our company has been expanding as well. We welcome our newest Content Writer to the team, Rylie Jackowitz! She has been hired on at our Utah location and is already hard at work to write content, like blogs and articles, for some of our clients.
We gave her our traditional get-to-know-you questions to get to know a bit more about her personal life and her work style. We’re happy to have you join us, Rylie!

1- What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love having slow mornings, going to church, spending time with my husband, and doing chores (I know. Weird).
2- Are you into podcasts or do you only listen to music? What have you been listening to lately?
I mostly just listen to music, although I’ve been trying to get more into audiobooks since I have an endless reading list. My top music always changes with my mood but I have a few go-to genres: alternative pop, celtic, classical, indie folk, 40s Big Band, and 50s rock-n-roll.
3- Disneyland or Disney World?
I have never been to Disney World, but I grew up going to Disneyland with my family, so I definitely have a lot of favorite memories from there. Fun fact: I went to Disneyland Paris this last year while on my honeymoon!
4- When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Do you think that translates to what you do now?
I wanted to be so many things when I was a kid: singer, artist, dolphin trainer, DS game designer, baker, and mom. Weirdly, I think it translates to what I do now because it shows that my interests and hobbies are always adapting and changing!
5- Favorite pizza toppings?
I’m a big fan of gourmet pizzas with unique toppings. Some of my favorite toppings (not all together) are goat cheese, balsamic vinegar, roasted corn, chicken, spinach, bacon, pears, white sauce, and apples.
6- If you could be a superhero, what would be your ideal superpower? Why?
My ideal superpower is definitely flying. I grew up in the mountains in Northern California and always wanted to see what it was like at the top of the giant pine trees.
7- Describe your perfect day
My perfect day would begin with breakfast in bed, complete with coffee, French toast, and strawberries. I would then love to do something outdoors with friends – like a hike, afternoon by a lake or river, or picnic in the park – or something casual on the town, like grabbing coffee or thrifting. As long as there’s good quality time with people, I would be happy. Then finishing up with sushi for dinner and a cozy movie night would be perfect.
8- What is your favorite type of weather?
I definitely love the sunshine, although I think it’s the most beautiful type of weather when it’s sunny and rainy at the same time (apparently called a sunshower!).
9- How do you stay productive at work?
I have a few things that keep me in the zone. I like listening to music, but it has to be instrumental, otherwise I can’t write! I’ll usually rotate through lo-fi, classical, ambiance, piano, or celtic. I make sure to have a snack and yummy drink nearby and I also have a secret stash of peppermint patties to serve as a little motivator throughout the day.
10- Do you have a morning routine at work? If so, what’s it like?
I have found that I like making a sticky note list of all that I want to get done in the day. Having a physical list helps me feel productive when I can cross each thing off. I will usually start the day with writing out my list, choosing my music, checking email, drinking coffee, and then I lock in.
11- What’s one work-related thing you want to accomplish in the next year?
I mostly want to learn anything and everything I can. I enjoy being creative, so developing new skills and avenues of doing that feels exciting.
